Crafty Coasters

Looking for an idea for a fun summer project that is easy and low-cost? I present to you homemade coasters! I made these with the girls a few days ago and it was so much fun. They are super easy to make and hardly cost a thing. I will warn you about the spraying at the end of the project, it can be rather toxic! Here is what you will need for the coasters:

* Bathroom Tiles from Home Depot/Lowes: $0.16
* Mod Podge: You can find this at Wal-Mart
* Decorative Paper: Wal-Mart or Michael's
* Scissors: You should own a pair of these ;-)
Paint brushes: Wal-Mart or Michael's

It's pretty easy from the beginning. Here are the steps:

1. Paint the coasters with Mod Podge

2. Cut your decorative paper and glue it onto the coaster

3. After the coasters have dried, spray them with Mod Podge; You will want to do a couple of coats of the Mod Podge to get a glossy look

4. Ta-Da! There you have it folks, pretty
coasters ;-)
